S & L Personnel currently have an exciting minimum12 month maternity cover position based in Hinckley for a Sales Administrator.S&L Personnel are a leading recruitment business with offices throughout the Midlands area.

Role Overview:

To assist in the day to day running of the office through providing excellent customer service. To liaise with the relevant team members to ensure customer enquiries are dealt with to a high standard, orders are processed and despatched promptly and accurately, and after sales issues are settled without delay and provide support as part of the sale team, answer incoming queries via telephone/ email and organise/ distribute incoming/ orders accordingly.


  • Print, organise and distribute emails from the sales inbox e.g new orders, quotes, spare part enquiries, technical questions etc.
  • Respond to customer email queries in a timely manner
  • Input/raise new sales orders – sending all associated paperwork to the relevant departments

  • Process debit/ credit card payments
  • Check and sign raised orders prior to these being sent to the warehouse for production
  • Send customers order acknowledgements via email once their order has been processed
  • Download Sales Reps reports and review for anything that may need further action
  • Answer incoming calls and emails to the sales line and provide advice/ assistance as required

  • Liaise with the Technical Department regarding quotes/technical drawing/technical queries

  • Organise/ facilitate the despatch of outgoing packages/mail

  • Greeting and dealing with visitors

  • Taking telephone orders from retailers

  • Deal with courier regarding non delivery and tracking issues
  • Arrange collections/returns labels for customers

  • Assist in marketing initiatives such as product development, sales promotions, exhibitions, social media campaigns/communication

Hours and Benefits

Mon – Thurs 9am to 5pm, Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm

½ an hour lunch. Free car parking on site

The ideal candidates will be confident individuals with a positive attitude, being highly motivated with excellent communication skills. Good planning and time management skills are essential.
