Recruitment Consultant

S&L Personnel are a rapidly growing Recruitment Business that specialise in the Industrial and Commercial sectors.

Our team is passionate about recruitment and customer service and strive to deliver an outstanding service level to each of our clients. Due to recent growth we are now looking to expand our thriving team and have an opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our team, based at our office in the Syston area of Leicester (LE7 1PD)

Applicants will ideally have previous experience within a similar position, either as Recruitment Consultant or Senior Consultant and will be up to date and confident with current legislation, office management and account management.

The successful applicants will have a desire to succeed and will be responsible for managing and developing their own accounts by generating further revenue in the midlands area. Confidence within new business development and proven success within a sales capacity will be an advantage.

Ideally applicants will have proven previous success within a similar role, and be driven towards progressing with the business.

Duties will include:

  • General office administration
  • Managing the staff availability
  • Sourcing and recruiting new candidates, including face to face interviews
  • Managing advert response
  • Managing and developing existing accounts
  • New business development using a variety of sales techniques
  • Collating time sheets and payroll management
  • Appointing and attending key client meetings. 

The need to be computer literate is essential for this role and should include knowledge in all Microsoft office applications.  Knowledge of Eclipse or other similar recruitment software would also be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be given.

The successful candidate will on occasion be required to visit the various clients and other branches and as such own transport is preferred.

Salary and commission will be negotiable and will depend on experience, however will consist of a good basic and uncapped OTE. In addition to this you will receive other benefits including half a day’s holiday on your birthday, and an additional day’s holiday allowance to reward your good attendance. Annual salary band increases are offered to reward hard work and loyalty subject to performance reviews.
