Onsite Senior Recruitment Coordinator

S & L Personnel are a recruitment business based in Leicestershire, Coventry & Warwickshire.

Following another successful year working closely with our client, we now have an exciting new position for a Senior Recruitment Coordinator to join our onsite team working with our client at Bardon Hill, Coalville, Leicestershire. The onsite operation specialises within the Industrial sector, recruiting Contract Packing operatives, Warehouse operatives and FLT drivers.  We are looking for someone who is reliable and passionate about recruitment with a desire to succeed and further develop their career.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience within the recruitment industry and have experience managing temporary workers within an industrial environment, ideally within an onsite capacity. Additional training and development will of course be provided where necessary.

Duties for this Senior Recruitment Coordinator role will include:

  • Managing all temporary staff onsite and working closely with our clients management team to ensure all requirements are being achieved daily.
  • Managing attendance and holiday leave ensuring thorough communication with the onsite management team.
  • Assisting each department with the checking in/out staff on a daily basis.
  • Daily collation of all hours worked in each department for payroll.
  • Recruiting, interviewing and selecting suitable candidates for work.
  • Working closely with the supervisors to manage any performance issues that may arise.
  • Planning advertising to ensure service levels and staff volumes are being delivered in line with agreed SLA.
  • Any other general admin / recruitment consultant tasks.
  • Taking ownership of part of the account, and being involved in weekly meetings with the client and their management team.

The Senior Recruitment Coordinator would ideally possess:

  • Previous experience within an onsite recruitment team.  
  • Strong worker management skills, and a desire to deliver a fantastic experience to our temporary workers.
  • The ability to multitask.
  • A can-do positive attitude towards work.
  • Be able to work well under pressure and thrive in a busy environment.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
  • Strong admin skills and IT skills using Microsoft packages, to include Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • A current driving licence would be an advantage in this role, although this is not essential.

The hours of work are Monday – Friday between the hours of 6am and 6pm.  A typical shift would be 6am – 3pm or 7.30am – 4.30pm.

The salary for this role will be between £20,500 – £25,500 and will depend on experience.  Additional opportunities to further develop yourself and progress your salary are available to you and will be outlined at your interview.
