Customer Service and Website Consultant

S&L Personnel are currently recruiting for a Customer Service and Website Consultant for one of our clients to look after the day to day running of their online retail and trade sales. 

The daily role will be assisting in ensuring the website is up to date with all relevant product info, handling customer enquiries (from both retail and trade), contacting existing trade customer accounts and actively looking for further opportunities to expand the sales account base.

Online sales/customer services role

  • add new products, categories, pages to the transactional website as required
  • ensure all product images, text and shipping details correct
  • monitor and amend availability of product, liaise with the shipping department/warehouse on product availability and adjust accordingly i.e.. sizes out of stock,       product not currently available
  • liaise with event staff on securing products that are unavailable in the warehouse but do have at the events to ensure fulfilling any online orders received 
  • deal with all trade sales enquiries/issues daily
  • generate trade sales on a continual basis via email and telephone calls to existing customer base
  • actively pursue new trade customers/accounts to grow business
  • liaise with the shipping department on any issues relating to trade orders, communicate and solve all issues with trade customers
  • deal with all retail customer enquiries/issues daily
  • liaise with the shipping department on any issues relating to retail orders, communicate and solve all issues with retail customers
  • handle customer returns, liaise with the shipping department to ensure these are kept up to date and dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • provide full daily sales figures/revenue for both trade and retail sales
  • bring to the attention of the wider team any consistent product issues/comments from customers
  • compile reports required for trade and retail sales
  • assist the office team in any other day to day tasks

This role is Monday – Friday 9am until 5pm

This role would be ideal for someone with a proven background / experience in customer service and sales. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as good organisational skills and the ability to work under own initiative. A good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office (especially word and excel) are essential and use of Magento is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
